Warriors in Biokinetic Test

With the Brave Warriors to host Malawi on 23 March, local-based Warriors went through a Biokinetic testing at the NFA Technical Centre.

According to the acting head coach of the Brave Warriors Bernard Kaanjuka, 21 local players underwent the test on Tuesday and Wednesday at the NFA Technical Centre to detect any injuries and allow the Technical team to make informed decision on their inclusion for future national team duties.

Foreign legion good for Warriors

The Brave Warriors will benefit a lot from its foreign legion, believes acting coach Benhard Kaanjuka.

Kaanjuka was commenting on the situation where seven of the current Brave Warriors squad are now plying their trades in the Premier Soccer league of South Afrcia and two more are based in Thailand.

Isaacks joins United

The Namibia South African based legion continues to grow as Brave Warriors midfielder Heinrich Isaacks joined Maritzburg United this week on a year and a half contract.

Vries, Shitembi and Mwedihanga signs PSL deals

Three Brave Warriors players, Virgil Vries, Willem Mwedihanga and Petrus Shitembi signed for Maritzburg United, Amazulu and Amatuks respectively this week after agreeing to personal terms with the South African Premier Soccer League(PSL) clubs.

Kaimbi’s volley wins Thai Award


After scoring the equalizer in the Brave Warriors 2-1 defeat to Morocco in South Africa on 12 January, industrious midfielder Lazarus Kaimbi won the Thailand Premier League’s Best Goal of the Season award on Monday.

The Brave Warriors will only engage 2013 AFCON hopefuls Morocco in an international Friendly following the cancellation of the Zambian Friendly encounter.

Isaacks’ recovery going well

Brave Warriors midfielder Heinrich Isaacks is on the mend after picking up a groin injury in training this week and will undergo a late fitness test before the team’s departure on Friday to South Africa.
