Brave Warriors Off to Zimbabwe
The Brave Warriors left for Zimbabwe yesterday for their important clash against the Warriors without captain Michael Pienaar.
The team that have been trimmed down from 22 to a sizeable 18-men squad by the technical team will be without Pienaar due to his work commitments and Ivan Namaseb has been brought in to add quality at the back.
Reliable midfielder hard man Oliver Risser is back with the squad after successfully overcoming an injury and joins his kid-brother, hero of the Brave Warriors 2-1 victory over Kenya last week, Wilko Risser.
Midfielder Collin Benjamin is still out with a toe injury, leaving the likes of Quinton Jacobs, Brian Gurirab and Tugela Tuyeni to carry the team through against their much-fancied Zimbabwean opponents on Sunday.
