COSAFA ASKS NFA TO HOST U/17 – 01/04/2008

The Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA) has asked the NFA to host the second successive edition of the regional body’s U/17 tournament.   The request follows the very successful hosting of the same event late last year by the NFA.   The Acting Secretary General of NFA, Mr. Barry Rukoro, informed nfa.org that the organization will discuss the matter with relevant stake holders before reverting to COSAFA.  Zimbabwe won the competition last year when they defeated South Africa in the final.
