Under-17 League Living-Up!
The second round of the NFA’s Khomas Under-17 league played over the weekend produced some high scoring affairs in Winners’ Section, as the Losers’ Section kept it respectable.
 The highest scoring match was a duel between the Collin Benjamin Soccer Academy (CBSA) and Star Boys that had nine goals in total, eight for the CBSA. Sport Klub Windhoek (SKW) also advanced to the quarterfinals of the Winners’ Section courtesy of their six-nil whitewash of Kukulethu, and other big winners were Shipena Stars, five-nil against Rangers, S’Bala, five-nil past Tigers.
 Ramblers 2-1 victors against Patrick Iyambo, Orlando Pirates narrowly went through after beating the national Youth Football Development programme (NYDP), 1-0, and African Stars lost to Ongete by the same score line as well.
The Khomasdal Football Academy (KFA) lost 3-0 on penalties against Okahandja Park after a goalless regulation time of football.

In the Losers’ Section, Young Ones salvaged some pride as they defeated OD Community 3-2, before Challengers joined them in semi-finals as they beat Mario’s Academy 2-1.
Arcadia lost to Eastern Swallows 2-1 and Katsville defeated Scorpions 4-2 0n penalties after a goalless fulltime
Here are the quarterfinals fixtures (Winners’ Section) for Saturday, 26 July 2008 at the Sam Nujoma Stadium:
1.  Shipena Stars vs. Okahandja park 10h00
2.  SKW vs. Orlando Pirates              11h20
3.  CBSA vs. Ongete                         12h40
4.  S’Bala vs. Ramblers                      14h00

The semi-finals for both sections will be played on August, 9, 2008.
