Warriors Off for Revenge
The senior national soccer team, the Brave Warriors left for Johannesburg, South Africa on Monday to prepare for their crucial match away at Guinea on Saturday.
The Brave Warriors will prepare for the must-win match against Guinea in Conakry on Saturday in South Africa for three days before they depart for Conakry for their 2010 FIFA World Cup and CAF Africa Nations Cup preliminary qualifier against a team that just defeated 2-1 in Windhoek.
Arie Schans have made some changes to his travelling squad with Sport Klub Windhoek’s striker Arend von Stryk together with midfielder Quinton Jacobs left out and Brian Gurirab withdrawing due to family commitments.
First-choice goalkeeper Athiel Mbaha is still nursing a groin injury, while Rambler strikers Pineas Jacobs have recovered form his injury and joins the team again.
Benjamin Ntihemuka, a local financial analyst will act as the French interpreter for the team.
