GERMAN TECHNICAL EXPERT TO TAKEOVER FROM BOOIS – 15/02/2008

The Namibia Football Association has formally announced that a German technical expert will take over the responsibility of Seth Boois who recently resigned from the position of Technical Director of the NFA.  The German expert will be provided to the NFA by the Deutcher Fussball-Bund (DFB) as part of a memorandum of understanding signed by the two football bodies late last year.

In a letter from the General Secretary, Mr. Wolfgang Niersbach, the DFB states that the provision of the expert to Namibia is being made possible with the help of the German Olympic Sports Federation and the German Office of Foreign Affairs.  Mr. Markus Weidner, head of the DFB Coaching Education and International Department, will visit Windhoek between 09 and 11 March 2008 to discuss the details of the bilateral future between the two associations as well as the concrete measurements for 2008.  The visit could also serve to launch the long term project and officially unveil the expert to the Namibian public.
