MTC NFA CUP DRAW - 11/02/2008

African Stars will on Wednesday know who will provide the first opposition to their defense of the MTC NFA Cup. The NFA is set to host the draw of its flagship competition on 13th February 2008 at Soccer House. Thirty Two teams from across the membership of the NFA will be included in the draw. All the teams affiliated to the Namibia Premier League is to form part of the draw while they will be joined by the winners of the various First and Second Divisions from across the length and breath of the country.

FNB Cup winners, Ramblers, SKW and the usual contenders Civics are pre-tournament favorites while defending champions African Stars, who have lost the core of the cup winning team to Mvela League football in South Africa, are considered a dark horse. Black Africa can not be ruled out as they have shown that cup competitions are their specialty. Blue Waters on the other hand are considered a dark, dark horse for this competition.
