NFA CONDUCT HANSA DRAW – 20/02/2008
The draw for the Hansa Pilsener Cup took place today, at Soccer House, and there was no place amongst the names in the bucket for last season’s winner Onambula United. Onambula United who, since they won the competition, gained promotion to the First Division, was eliminated from this year’s edition of the competition by Benfica, during the zonal round matches.
The competition, however, promises to be as interesting as ever with very good First and Second Division teams traveling to Otjiwarongo for the First Round Proper on the 01st and 02nd March 2008 . What ever happens in Otjiwarongo the competition is assured to maintain its tradition of producing a new winner every season.
