Kazapua out of Burundi preparations

As the Brave Warriors goes into camp today for their 2017 AFCON qualifiers against Burundi next week, African Stars goalkeeper Lodyt Kazapua withdrew from the team with an ankle injury that will keep him out of action for two weeks.

The injury-prone Kazapua was part of the five goalkeeper called up by Ricardo Mannetti last week to from part of the training squad in preparations for Namibia’s must-win 2017 Group K Qualifiers against Burundi on 26 and 29 March and on Wednesday it emerged that the man who was favorite to take the number two spot behind Max Mbaeva is injured and out.
